The Rival RS80V Impulse Sparring Gloves are a great glove for all level boxers from beginners to professional. They are made from an extremely resistant microfibre with a low density moulded foam padding. They have an ergonomically designed strap system to give a snug and supportive fit and insures optimal wrist support at all times. The breathable mesh on the palm prevents overheating and keeps your hands cool through long sessions as well as preventing the glove from smelling after use and helps to speed up the drying time between uses. This glove comes in a variety of sizes, weights and colours to suit all level as well as cater to the "look" also. The sizes available include 12oz, 14oz, 16oz and 18oz. Choosing a size or weight is generally done by your body weight. The 12oz is designed for 40kg to 55kg, the 14oz, for 55kg to 70kg the 16oz for 70kg to 85kg and over 85kg would generally use the 18oz. This is of course a rough guide as everyone's hand is different in sizing. If you can try them on, this will allow you to get a perfect fit, however if you do not have the option to try on in store, using the above sizing guide should be suitable. 

When purchasing a pair of boxing gloves, it's always recommended to grab a pair of inners which can help prevent sweating, the glove from smelling and overall comfort. You can purchase 3 different types of inners from the basic white material glove that slips on and off with ease, to a quick wrap that is a hybrid between an inner and a full wrap to a hand wrap which is the most common one used for boxers. The hand wrap will give you the most precise support and comfort. Boxing glove deodorisers naturally reduce ordour and bacteria from forming inside the gloves by drawing out any moisture which helps prevent mould from forming. These non-toxic charcoal inners are simply put inside the glove after use and left inside until the glove is used again.

How should my gloves fit?

- Your boxing gloves should fit firm and snug, allowing room for wearing hang wraps. The glove will give a little over time so firm is best.

- Yes, an inner or hand wrap will give support, comfort and prevent sweating.

- Dry in a cool and shady environment after use every time to avoid them being used wet and avoid direct sunlight. Keep a deodorizer in them when not in use.
